Spencerport High School is looking for an accompanist for the choral program beginning in September. It will be for two hours a day with additional hours for concerts and solo festival rehearsals and performances in the spring. The rehearsals run from 10:45 to 12:45 every day.

JOB TITLE: Children’s Choir Director at St. Michael Church - Newark, NY (Wayne County)
BEGIN: September 2010
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Experience in leading children and youth, church music leadership preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Music preferred but not required.
Musical ability, basic keyboard proficiency and directing abilities preferred.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Recruit for membership.
Organize schedule with music director and liturgy leader.
Communicate with parents.
Provide service music for Children’s Masses in October, December, February, April, and Christmas Eve.
Rehearse weekly following the school calendar.
Include warm-ups and a focus on proper vocal technique.
Collaborate on music selection and rehearsals with the church music director.
